Protecting your private information is our priority. This Statement of Privacy applies to Speedi and Speedi Delivery LLC, and governs data collection and usage. For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, unless otherwise noted, all references to Speedi Delivery LLC include speedi.delivery & Speedi Delivery App and Speedi. The Speedi application is an ecommerce application. By using the Speedi application, you consent to the data practices described in this statement.
Collection of your Personal Information
In order to better provide you with products and services offered, Speedi may collect personally identifiable information, such as your:
- First and Last Name
- Mailing Address
- Phone Number
If you purchase Speedi's products and services, we collect billing and credit card information. This information is used to complete the purchase transaction.
We do not collect any personal information about you unless you voluntarily provide it to us. However, you may be required to provide certain personal information to us when you elect to use certain products or services. These may include: (a) registering for an account; (b) entering a sweepstakes or contest sponsored by us or one of our partners; (c) signing up for special offers from selected third parties; (d) sending us an email message; (e) submitting your credit card or other payment information when ordering and purchasing products and services. To wit, we will use your information for, but not limited to, communicating with you in relation to services and/or products you have requested from us. We also may gather additional personal or non-personal information in the future.
Use of your Personal Information
Speedi collects and uses your personal information to operate and deliver the services you have requested.
Speedi may also use your personally identifiable information to inform you of other products or services available from Speedi and its affiliates.
Sharing Information with Third Parties
Except as described in the “Mobile Information and SMS Consent” section of this Privacy Policy, we may disclose certain personal information to trusted service providers only as necessary to operate Speedi and deliver requested services, including payment processing, customer support, delivery fulfillment, analytics, and email or postal communications. These service providers may use personal information only to provide services to Speedi and must maintain its confidentiality. We may also disclose personal information when required by law, legal process, or when reasonably necessary to protect the rights, property, safety, or security of Speedi, our users, or the public.
Mobile Information and SMS Consent
No mobile information — including your phone number and any SMS opt-in or consent data — will be sold, rented, leased, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. This category of information is expressly excluded from any sale, sharing, or transfer of personal information described elsewhere in this Privacy Policy. We use your mobile number solely to deliver account-verification passcodes and transactional messages related to your orders. Message frequency varies based on your account activity, and message and data rates may apply.Text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with third parties, except messaging aggregators and providers solely as necessary to deliver Speedi text messages.
Opt-Out of Sale or Disclosure of Personal Information to Third Parties
In connection with any personal information we may disclose to a third party for a business purpose, you have the right to know:
- The categories of personal information about you that we disclosed and the categories of third parties to whom the personal information was disclosed; and
- The categories of personal information that we disclosed about you for a business purpose.
You have the right under the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (CCPA) and certain other privacy and data protection laws, as applicable, to opt-out of the sale or disclosure of your personal information. If you exercise your right to opt-out, we will refrain from selling or disclosing your personal information, unless you subsequently provide express authorization. We respect your privacy and provide users an opportunity to opt out of non-SMS marketing communications. To stop receiving Speedi text messages, reply STOP. Right to Deletion
Subject to certain exceptions set out below, on receipt of a verifiable request from you, we will:
- Delete your personal information from our records; and
- Direct any service providers to delete your personal information from their records.
Children Under Thirteen
Speedi does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of thirteen. If you are under the age of thirteen, you must ask your parent or guardian for permission to use this application.
Opt-Out & Unsubscribe from Third Party Communications
We respect your privacy and give you an opportunity to opt-out of receiving announcements of certain information. Users may opt-out of receiving any or all communications from third-party partners of Speedi by contacting us at contact@speedi.delivery.
User Location Data
Speedi values your privacy and ensures utmost clarity in how we handle location data. While we do not store or collect user location data persistently, we temporarily access it to assist in placing orders. This enables us to provide a seamless service by matching your location to nearby vendors or to calculate delivery distances, ensuring accuracy and convenience in the order process. Once the necessary service is rendered, we do not retain this location data. Always remember, accessing your location is contingent on your device settings and permissions granted to the Speedi application. You always have control over sharing this information.
External Data Storage Sites
We may store your data on servers provided by third party hosting vendors with whom we have contracted.
Changes to this Statement
Speedi reserves the right to change this Privacy Policy from time to time.
